Imagine this: gathering on sacred land, nestled between the forest and ocean, surrounded by a vibrant community ready to step into a new freedom. Together, we’ll transform old stories into strengths through powerful practices and rituals that connect you to your most joyful, creative self. We’ll dive deep into sacred waters, shapeshift with the energy of fire, and sing songs of remembrance.
In 2024, we held our first Sacred Waters Immersion in Bali, where we cleansed, sang, moved, and offered prayers to the sacred rivers and springs. In that holy land, something shifted within us—we not only understood but deeply felt the power of the waters.
We made a collective commitment to honor the waters in our own homes and across the world. We vowed to continue learning and teaching the sacred ways of water, offering ourselves as stewards of this precious element.
Now, we invite you to join us on the lands of Chorotega people in Costa Rica. This 7-day journey, will have us cleanse, dance, sing, and tap into our deepest creativity. Together, we’ll co-create rituals of healing and joy, embodying the forces of flow and flame to awaken our self-expression. We’ll rest deeply, and support local projects that protect the waters and her creatures.
This experience is for healers, creatives, and activists ready to share their magic with the world. You’ll leave with clarity, inspiration, and a liberated spirit that continues to grow long after you return home.
Suzanne Sterling
Global Teacher, Musician, Ritualist, Activist and Instigator of collective joy
For over 25 years, Suzanne Sterling has been a transformative force on the global stage, blending ritual, music, and activism to inspire profound change. As a visionary teacher, she has guided countless individuals in self-expression, leadership, and social justice, sharing her unique blend of wisdom and creativity worldwide.
Suzanne founded The Voice of Change (VOC) method, a groundbreaking system that helps people break through barriers to authentic self-expression using sound, story, movement, and ritual. Rooted in anti-oppression and trauma-informed practices, VOC empowers individuals to envision new possibilities for themselves and the world through art and community.
Since 2007, Suzanne has co-led the organization Off The Mat, Into the World (OTM), working on spiritual activism and social justice projects across the globe, from the U.S. to India, Cambodia, Haiti, Ecuador, and Africa.
A sought-after presenter at international festivals and conferences, Suzanne is also an award-winning musician with five solo albums that continue to inspire audiences. Her passion and powerful voice make her a beacon for those seeking to awaken their true selves and contribute to global healing.

Tucked between Nosara and Samara in Costa Rica's Guanacaste Province, Con Smania CR will be our private retreat for the week, a hidden gem just steps from Pacific Beach. This stretch of Pacific coast is lined with stunning beaches, rocky hills, and river estuaries, offering dramatic scenery and charming villages, all connected to the inland mountains through natural biological corridors.
Known for its golden sands, vibrant wildlife, and breathtaking sunsets, you'll be surrounded by rich biodiversity, including howler monkeys, sea turtles, and tropical birds. Nestled in a protected maritime and blue zone, this is one of Central America’s most picturesque locations.
Con Smania’s Gaudi-inspired main building features a central kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining spaces, and a beautiful shala (yoga studio) open to nature. With 8 cozy casita cottages, and a magnificent main haven, you’ll feel its deep connection to the earth.
The private pool, hammocks, lounge spots, palapas, and koi ponds make this the perfect place to relax and ground yourself during our week-long immersion, with magical sunrises and sunsets just steps from your room.
We honor the native Chorotega people of these lands in Guanacaste Province. Though much of their culture has blended with modern life, their heritage endures in some communities, especially in Nicoya.
Why Water & Fire? Water and Fire are powerful forces of purification, often paired in rituals across cultures for their transformative qualities. This immersion invites you to dive into these elements, using their cleansing and purifying strengths to release what no longer serves you and reflect a new vision of yourself. Water is linked to the Svadisthan (sacral chakra), helping to shed shame and unlock creativity and self-expression. As the element that carries our emotions and unconscious, it purifies us both inwardly and outwardly, representing change, adaptability, and the power of surrender. Fire, on the other hand, embodies passion, energy, and transformation. It is tied to life force, fueling our actions and purifying our awareness of shadows. Fire represents both creation and destruction, symbolizing the burning away of the old to make space for the new. It encourages us to face our fears, break through limitations, and ignite our potential.

A Dynamic Duo Empowering Women to Rise
Cynthia and Robin are a powerful duo whose deep friendship and commitment to uplifting women have defined their shared purpose. With decades of experience in holding nourishing spaces and practicing the Voice of Change (VOC) work pioneered by Suzanne Sterling, they have dedicated their lives to fostering authenticity and collective empowerment.
Their journey, rooted in a shared vision, has created a safe, sacred space for Sacred Waters, where women can shed old skins and step into their full power. Their work, driven by love for humanity, is a heartfelt calling to help every woman rise.
Their impact was felt profoundly at the first Sacred Waters in Bali 2024. Known for their warmth, wisdom, and unwavering support, they are both more than facilitators—they are mentors, guides, and allies in the journey of self-discovery and empowerment.
